<p>A compact clutch device in an automatic transmission, wherein an input shaft (15) is provided thereon with a first drum (111) rotatably and axially slidably connected to the input shaft (15) through the inner peripheral portion of a rotatably supporting portion (112), and a second drum (117), the inner peripheral portion of a rotatably supporting portion (120) of which is relatively rotatably coupled onto the outer peripheral portion of the rotatably supporting portion (112) of the first drum (111); the inner side of an outer peripheral flange of the first drum (111) and a hub portion (119) provided on a flange portion disposed in the radial direction of the second drum (117) are engageably interconnected through a first clutch (C1), the inner side of an outer peripheral flange portion of the second drum (117) and a rotatable element (R2) of a planetary gear unit (12) are engageably interconnected through a second clutch (CO), and the second drum (117) is engageably connected to another rotatable element (R1) of the planetary gear unit (12).</p> |
