The photolithographic plate making machine has an exposure section with associated board table plus a film support which can be lowered onto the table and is equipped with a suction connection for suction line channels. The film support consists of a circumferential suction frame (10), the suction channels (41) starting from a central frame opening (11) accessed from above. The channels descend at equal intervals round the frame and start as downwards open recesses inside the frame legs and are intersected by a ring channel linked to the frame suction connection. USE/ADVANTAGE - Film, etc., can be placed direct on frame for accurate alignment with board blank via mask, etc., permitting hand operated film changeover.
