The body can be a stiff disc tightly enclosed by a sealing ring. The ring covers the entire surface of the body, which can be cylindrical, having at least one sealing bead pointing away from the body. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for vehicle braking systems. Simple to make and to install and withstands clamping forces.
