<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the touch approximate to the touch of natural ivory and excellent performance characteristic and durability by using an acrylate resin having a hydroxyl group as a polymer matrix and dispersing porous particles into this polymer matrix. CONSTITUTION:Since this keyboard material is constituted of the acrylate resin 1 contg. the hydroxyl group and the porous particles 2, the material has moderate water absorptivity and well absorbs the sweat of player's fingers. Particularly the pores of the porous particles 2 are exposed on the surface and, therefore, moisture (sweat) is rapidly absorbed away. Since the acrylate resin contg. the hydroxyl group itself has the high water absorptivity, the resin gradually absorbs the sweat as a whole and the frost setting does not arise on the surface even if the humidity is high. Further, fine ruggedness is formed by the exposing of the porous particles on the surface of the keyboard material and the fit to the fingers is good.
