PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in deodorization by providing a bypass to a duct that incorporates a blower and a suction and a discharge ports, each having No. 1 and No. 2 openings, and a damper between both of the openings, and by providing a storing and a purifying devices for odorous ingredients respectively on the upstream and the downstream sides of the duct. CONSTITUTION:An openable toilet seat 11 and an openable toilet cover 12 are attached to the upper side of a toilet stool 10, and a suction port 13 opened to the inside of a toilet bowl 14 is communicated with a discharge port 15 through a duct 16. Then a bypass 17 is installed to the duct with a No. 1 opening 18 and a No. 2 opening 19 provided respectively on the suction port 13 side and on the discharge port 15 side, and a damper 20 is provided for opening and shutting of air flow passage for the duct 16 and the bypass 17. In the duct 16 between the No. 1 opening 18 and the No. 2 opening 19, a blower 21, a storing device 22 for activated carbon for adsorption of odorous ingredients and a purifying device 23 for oxidizing catalyzer installed on the downstream side thereof are provided, and separation and adsorption of the adsorbed odorous ingredients can be made therewith by heating the activated carbon with a heater 24. Thereby semipermanent deodorization becomes feasible without the need for replacement of the activated carbon with the new one. |
