The tanned hide bandage (1) has an active agent applied to the skin-facing side, the agent in turn covered over by a gasproof, flexible foil (3), pref. glued to the skin-facing side (2). The edge of the foil has a glue edge to it and an outside gasproof coating. It covers the entire area of the hide (1) where this faces the skin. USE/ADVANTAGE - Medicine, rheumatic complaints. Hide bandage holds active agent to skin to prevent premature evapn. so agent necessarily diffuses through body pores as required.
