PURPOSE:To obtain a container lid excellent in the sealability at the container opening part and in the adhesion of a gasket to the inner surface of a base body of the lid by using a composition containing a predetermined amount of carboxylated vinyl chloride resin in a sealing agent. CONSTITUTION:A container lid consists of an outer peripheral body and a sealing gasket formed of vinyl chloride resin composition provided inside the outer peripheral body. The sealing gasket contains the vinyl chloride resin at least partially carboxylated and a plasticizer, where the vinyl chloride resin composition has a carboxyl group concentration of 2-20millimol/100g per total composition. In particular, when the plastisol whose composition has other component in addition to the carboxylated vinyl chloride resin and plasticizer is used in the formation of the sealing gasket for application to the container lid, a rotational torque is maintained at an appropriate value to permit the sealability of the container to be improved and the aging of adhesion to a base body to be controlled. |
