<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the guide post for magnetic tape traveling which has the same performance with a metallic one and is made of inexpensive thermosetting resin by molding the post out of a composite material whose mixture is specifically designed by injection. CONSTITUTION:The guide post for magnetic tape traveling is molded by injection out of the composite member formed by adding 30 - 60pts.wt. graphite only as a solid lubricant or graphite and carbon black together in total, 4 - 20pts.wt. glass fiber, and 4 - 20pts.wt. glass beads to 100pts.wt. thermosetting resin to have fine irregularity on the surface and also have conductivity. This guide post eliminates the rubbing damage of a magnetic tape, secure a stable tape travel in any environment, and has the same performance with a metallic one, and is manufactured at low cost by injection molding.</p> |
