PURPOSE:To prepare a transparent film excellent in the impact resistance by mixing a methyl methacrylate-based acrylic resin, a multilayered acrylic elastomer, and a vinylidene fluoride-based fluororesin in a specified ratio and molding the resulting mixture into a film. CONSTITUTION:40-60 pts.wt. acrylic resin mainly comprising methyl methacrylate (e.g. a methyl methacrylate-methyl acrylate copolymer), 60-40 pts.wt. multilayered acrylic elastomer, and 5-25 pts.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. the sum of the acrylic resin and the elastomer) fluororesin mainly comprising vinylidene fluoride are mixed. The resulting mixture is molded to give the title impact-resistant film. An example of the elastomer is a graft copolymer wherein methyl (meth)acrylate has been grafted onto a rubber component comprising a butyl acrylate-styrene copolymer. |
