CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having stability by itself, stably mixable with another agent by blending calcium pantothenate with Mg or Ca lactate or carbonate in the presence of water and/or lower alcohol and drying. CONSTITUTION:Calcium pantothenate is blended with Mg or Ca lactate or carbonate (preferably calcium lactate) which is neutral or basic by itself in the presence of water and/or lower alcohol and the blend is dried. The amount of Mg or Ca salt blended is >=10wt.%, especially 40-75wt.% based on the whole amount of composition and the amount of water and/or lower alcohol is >=4 pts.vol., especially 20-200 pts.vol. based on 100 pts.wt. blend.
