PURPOSE:To enable the absorption of liquid wastes sufficiently in a front zone of a diaper by a method wherein wing zones of a diaper are made of a material permeable to liquid across the thickness thereof, a liquid permeable top sheet and a back sheet are arranged and a liquid absorbing core is interposed therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A slim stretching side sheet 13 is arranged in a vertical central zone on the top surface of a diaper body 1, on the top surface of a top sheet 6 as opposed to both sides of a front zone 2, a crotch zone 3 and a back zone 4 and outside parts thereof are joined on the top surface of the top sheet 6. The stretching of the side sheet 13 is applied by an elastic member 14 mounted in an internal rim sleeve 13' of the respective side sheets 13. Internal parts of the side sheets 13 are joined on the top sheet 6 with both ends thereof levelled outward. Moreover, elastic members 15 and 16 stretching along side rims and ends thereof are mounted being interposed between the top and back sheets 6 and 8 at both side rims in the crotch zone 3 and at one end in the back zone 4 of the diaper body 1. |
