PURPOSE:To eliminate the time for prohibiting an image forming operation before a heat roller attains a prescribed temp., i.e. waiting time by using the toner contg. a specific polyester resin as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the polyester resin formed of etherified bisphenols, arom. dicarboxylic acids of >=30mol% in the total acid component, alkenyl-substd. dicarboxylic acids and/or alkyl-substd. dicarboxylic acids of 5 to 40wt.% of the total acid weight, and 3 or higher valency polycarboxylic acids and/or 3 or higher valency polyols and a releasable component. The sensible images of the toner are heat-fixed to a recording material by a heating body which is fixed and supported and a pressurizing member which is in pressurized contact with the heating body in opposite thereto and brings the recording medium into tight contact with the heating body via a film. The waiting time is substantially eliminated or extremely shortened. |
