PURPOSE:To feed a machining gap with sufficient machining solutions in an optimum manner as well as to improve both accuracy and speed required for wire-cut electro-discharge machining, by making up the form of a nozzle into an elliptical or slit one extending toward one axis of the axial and orthogonal directions of a wire electrode. CONSTITUTION:The opening area of a machining solution jet open is continuously machined for drawing extending toward no insertion of a wire electrode 15 in relation to a machining feed direction 23A. With being constituted like this, a machining jet flow 19X (20X) from a jet nozzle 19B (20B) smaller in diameter than a jet nozzle 19a (20a) situated around the wire electrode 15 comes high in velocity and the influx of the machining solution is increased by a completed machining groove 7A so that the machining solution jet flow 19X (20X) comes hard to escape to the side of the machining groove 7A, thus the wire electrode 15 is forcibly pressed to a workpart surface and kept up in rectilinear as tension given. |
