The pusher guide (1) is intended to guide and support a needle (1), in particular for performing a biopsy on an organ (OR). By means of the support guide bearing on the skin (PE) of the patient, the depth of penetration (P+L) of the puncture element (5) of the needle is accurately determined, which avoids any risk of trauma to the organ. The support guide comprises a tubular support (7) to be arranged parallel to the needle body, a sliding and adjustable gauge (73) in the support, and a base ring (91) for bearing on the skin (PE) in order to guide the cannula (3), and a double stop element (71) which is arranged on the support (7) and is held bearing against the needle (1). During the biopsy, the upper ends (212, 40) of the needle body (2) integral with the cannula (3) and of the needle slide (4) integral with the puncture element (5) are applied, respectively, under and on top of the double stop element in order to move the said upper ends towards each other and then away from each other. A pusher (8) sliding on the support (7) makes it possible to push the body (2) downwards in order to take a sample (51) from the organ. <IMAGE>
