PURPOSE:To enhance the humidity resistance and oxidation resistance of a recording film by selecting the target material forming the recording film from a specific ternary alloy and a specific quaternary or more alloy both of which contains Te or In. CONSTITUTION:A recording film is formed on an opticall disk substrate using a target material. At this time, as the target material, a compound doped with at least one metal selected at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Pb, Ga, Zn, Bi and Ag to a fundamental material composed of an alloy having a composition of GexTeyInz (x, y, z>0) or a compound doped with at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Ga, Zn, Bi and Ag to a fundamental material composed of a composition of Inx'Sby'Pbz' (x', y', z'>0) is used. By the use of this compound, the recording film rich in humidity resistance and oxidation resistance is obtained. |
