PURPOSE:To decrease the connection time between a telephone set of a public network and a caller extension telephone set in a PBX after a call of a pager is received at the outside of premises by devising that the extension subscriber of the PBX calls the pager bell of the public network directly. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a private branch of exchange(PBX) 2, an extension telephone set(TELA) 1 accommodated in the PBX 2 and an out-premises telephone set(TELB) 3 used by a possessor of a pager connecting to the PBX 2 via the public network. Then a pager number inputted from the subscriber telephone set TEB 3 to the public network is received and the received pager number and a called pager number stored in a storage device 26 are collected and when they are coincident, the caller TELA 1 is called. Thus, the time when the connection between the caller extension telephone set and the subscriber telephone set of the public network is decreased. |
