The invention relates to a pulverizer comprising a frame 1, having a shell 3 disposed on the frame, and at least two rotatable, coaxial pulverizing rotors 5,6, mounted on the frame and having essentially vertical rotational axes, which pulverizing rotors are provided with a rotation stop 7, at least one rotor 5 being set up to rotate in the opposite direction to the other rotor 6 (the other rotors). The pulverizer further has drive members 8 for the rotors 5,6, which are connected to a power source, as well as feed members 4, connected to the shell, for the material to be pulverized and removal members 9,10 for the pulverized material. According to the invention, there is in the device at least one fan member 10 present, which is placed in the outer edge of at least one rotor 5 at a distance from the rotation stop 7, the fan member 10, upon rotation of the rotor 5, producing an air current which flows out through the outlet 9 and entrains the pulverized material. The device further has an air space 11, which emerges between the fan member 10 and the rotation stop 7 and which feeds additional air to the said place. By means of the solution according to the invention, the quantity of air flowing to the fan member 10 is able to be adjusted, without affecting the pulverizing of the pulverizing rotors, by changing the quantity of additional air. <IMAGE>
