PURPOSE:To obtain DNA regions (a) containing a gene governing replicating and proliferating function of a plasmid in a strain cell belonging to a coryneform bacterium (A) and a plasmid vector, replicative and proliferative in the coryneform bacterium (A) by introducing the aforementioned DNA regions (a) thereinto. CONSTITUTION:The following new DNA regions and plasmid vector are obtained, a DNA region (a) of 1.1kb whole length, derived from a plasmid pBY502 and containing a gene governing replicating and proliferating function of a plasmid in a strain of Brevibacterium.flavum MJ-233 which is a coryneform bacterium (A), a DNA region (a) of 2.9kb whole length derived from a plasmid pBY503 and a plasmid vector, replicative and proliferative in the coryneform bacterium (A) in which the DNA regions (a) are introduced. A DNA fragment, etc., containing a structural gene capable of coding various industrially useful substances are integrated into the plasmid vector, introduced into a host microorganism and cultured to enable stable and efficient production of the useful substances coded with the useful gene. |
