PURPOSE:To generate an accompaniment line with few memory capacity and thick tone by selecting composite sound based on a reference sound level out of the composite sound of a designated code, and performing an automatic performance setting selected composite sound as sound level data. CONSTITUTION:When a code is designated by the key depression operation of a switch group 4, a CPU 1 selects the composite sound based on code compos ite sound data and a program stored in a ROM 2 and data stored in a RAM 13 transiently, and based on the reference sound level from a designated code. A musical sound signal formation device 6 forms a musical sound waveform signal based on the automatic performance by the CPU 1 and a processing required for sounding, and the musical sound waveform signal is vocalized to the outside via a sound system 7 consisting of an amplifier, a speaker, etc. By employing such constitution, no increment of memory capacity such as the ROM 2 is required even when the number of accompaniment lines is in creased to obtain the sufficient thickness of sound in automatic performance, therefore, the automatic performance with thick sound can be performed even with small memory capacity. |
