TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner with superior image characteristics by using a polymer prepared by polymerizing a monomer in the presence of specified carbon black. CONSTITUTION:To a deired monomer is added about 1-20wt% carbon black having <=6wt% volatile matter content measured by a loss caused by heating at 950 deg.C for 7min in an oxygen-free atmosphere. The monomer added carbon black is polymerized by suspension polymn., emulsion polymn. or other method, and the resulting polymer is pulverized and classified to obtain a toner of a suitable particle size.
