PH controller where phase controlling takes place relying upon a micro-controller. Speed selection is by means of external switches governed by the system of contacts of an electromechanical programmer. The micro-controller has a program in charge of measuring motor speed. This measure is taken from the signal delivered by a tachymetric pick-up (tachogenerator). It also contains a control algorithm deciding, from the speed error obtained, the tripping angle from the passage through network zero to drive a power element (triac) to energise the washing machine motor.
