An injection mould for the prodn. of mouldings with undercuts, and in elastimers in partic. has two tools, one of which has at least one set of mould impressions in sliding jaws and an ejector. At least one mould tool has at least one tapered sleeve at right angles to the split line, the sliding jaws are tapered externally to match. The interior sides of the sliding jaws have symmetrically disposed slots for spreader pins in the sleeve, the slots and the pins have tapered surfaces opening out in the direction of ejection, the ejector has a shoulder which engages the bottom face of the sliding jaws when the latter are closed together. ADVANTAGE - The mould design is simple to produce and to use when demoulding. It is easy to maintain consistent prodn.
