<p>PURPOSE:To prevent alteration of a card by mounting an electrode pair and a conductor line selectively connecting the electrode pair onto the surface of the information card and previously making the information at an information recording section to the information at a card discriminating section correspond. CONSTITUTION:An information card is composed of a card body 1, an information recording section 5 and a card discriminating section 6, and information is regenerated by a card reader. The card discriminating section 6 is set up at the lower section of a surface on the same side as the information recording section 5 of the card body 1, and consists of electrode pairs 2 and conductor lines 3. The conductive small pieces of two pairs corresponding to electrodes for reading information on the card reader side are used as the electrode pairs 2 which are fixed onto the surface of the card body 1 at regular intervals. The conductor lines 3 mutually connect the paired electrodes 2 selectively, and are buried into the card body 1 for preventing alteration. Accordingly, the conductive states of the electrode pairs 2 fitted to the card body 1 are investigated by the electrodes on the card reader side, thus discriminating the propriety of the card.</p> |
