<p>A mulching attachment (10) for a lawn mower includes a disc-like base (12) having a fan associated therewith for establishing a radial flow of air thereacross. The mulching attachment further includes a cylindrical blade assembly (16) disposed around the periphery of the disc and including a number of spaced apart blades (18) operative to finely chop vegetation into mulch and to discharge the mulch through openings between the blades. The mulching attachment (10) may be factory installed or retrofitted onto existing lawn mowers.</p> |
