METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OF AC SEMICONDUCTOR SWITCH

This method is used in electric power supply systems for glass kilns. It ensures the elimination of current surges in the load transformer by retaining control over power transmitted to the consumer. This method is unique in that the interval of the initial phase angle is between 0 and 90 degrees, following with which the switch turns on when the current passes through the neutral, and turns off upon reaching an even number of half-periods.
