<p>PURPOSE: To provide a coaxial cable of connecting structure with high water- tightness and air-tightness by tightly fitting a collar member to a connector body. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 60 is fitted to a coaxial cable 80 and a free end of the coaxial cable is treated. After the completion of the treatment of the free end of the coaxial cable 80, the ring of the sleeve 60 is removed from the connector body 12, and they are separated from each other. The sleeve 60 is pressed into a collar member 20 of the connected body 12 and is inserted into the connector body 12. At this time, a ring-shaped protrusion 68 of the sleeve 60 is fitted into a channel 24 of the collar member 20. The jacket 82 of the coaxial cable 80 and the hole 66 of the sleeve 60 contact with each other water-tightly and air-tightly to make a moisture seal, according to the size relation between the coaxial cable 80 and the sleeve 60.</p> |
