摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly perform press-in work by providing constitution such that a press-in point end face of rubber is provided with a recessed part under a free condition before the rubber is pressed in, in the case of a damper rubber assembly unit of a propeller for a ship propulsion machine formed by baking the rubber in the peripheral part of a bush and pressed into a boss part internal diameter of the propeller. CONSTITUTION:In an outboard engine 10, a propeller 18 is mounted to a propeller shaft 17, to which an output of the engine is transmitted, through a damper rubber assembly unit 22 formed by baking rubber 24 in the peripheral surface part of a bush 23. The propeller 18 is formed by providing a boss part 19 and a blade part 20 by integral molding, and the damper rubber assembly unit 22 is pressed into the boss part 19 of the propeller with the propeller shaft 17 connected to the internal peripheral part of the bush 23 through meshing spline parts 17A, 23A. Here under a free condition before the rubber is pressed into an internal diameter of the boss part 19, a recessed part 29 is provided in a press-in point end face of the rubber 24. In press-in action into the internal diameter of the boss part 19 of the assembly unit 22 following the deformation of the rubber 24, a press-in load in a press-in point end part side is reduced by existence of the recessed part 29.
