The method envisages the possibility of stabilizing the length of the metal sheet obtained from a continuous band acting on the feed speed of the same towards the shears in a previous phase to the cutting one. An improvement of the method also envisages the possibility of acting simultaneously on the tangential blades of the rotary shears. The machine is obtained by combining a rotary shears with a feeder capable of varying the feed speed of the band.
