PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of quality of each label by preventing a ground of each label from staining by a method wherein an electrostatic eliminator which eliminates static electricity to be generated to a label tape is provided near a label stocker. CONSTITUTION:An operation panel 3 is operated to print a handwriting image on each label Tb, and each label on which the handwriting image is printed is sheet by sheet taken out from a printer. A used base tape Ta is wound on a winding roll 6, and a printing tape (t) is wound on a winding roll 8. When a label tape T wound on a label stocker 4 is unwound, static electricity is generated. An electrostatic eliminator 10 electrifies each electrode 15a of an electrostatic generator 15 to impress high voltage thereto. A molecule in the air generates a cation and an anion. Since this static electricity is blow against a label tape T from each air jet nozzle 12 by compressed air with an air feed pipe 14, the static electricity to be generated on the label tape T is neutralized and besides, dust is blown off with compressed air to be eliminated. Therefore, a ground of each label Tb is not stained, and improvement of quality can be achieved. |
