摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the control characteristic suitably changeable of a rear wheel by providing a position changing means for variably changing a position of two transverse G sensors, in the case of a vehicle in which rear wheel steering is controlled by calculating a yaw rate from outputs of the two transverse G sensors arranged in front and rear parts of a car body. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering device B, controlled in accordance with front wheel steering when front wheels 1L, 1R are steered through a front wheel steering mechanism A by a steering mechanism C, is provided with a servomotor 20 as a drive source for steering rear wheels 2L, 2R and a clutch 22 interposed in a correlative mechanism for transmitting power of the servomo tor 20 to a relay rod 12. The servomotor 20 and the clutch 22 are controlled by a controller 30 in accordance with a target rear wheel steering angle calcu lated being based on each output signal of a handle steering angle sensor 31, car speed sensor 32 and each transverse G sensor 34, 35 in front and rear parts of a a car body. Here the transverse G sensors 34, 35 are provided with the longitudinal position changeable in accordance with an air temperature or the like related to road surface freezing.
