PURPOSE:To relax the heat generation of a capacitor element, and to shorten aging treatment time, and besides to prevent inferiority generation by performing the normal temperature aging treatment while cooling an electrolytic capacitor. CONSTITUTION:In the aging treatment of two steps, an electrolytic capacitor 2 to be aged is stored in a cooler 6 in the normal temperature aging treatment of the first step, and aging treatment is done while performing compulsory cooling. In the hot aging treatment of the second step, the capacitor 2, that the treatment of the first step is completed, is stored in a heater 8, and the aging treatment is done at a temperature higher than the use temperature of the capacitor 2. |
