PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of copying operation and the easy-to-handle characteristic for operator by furnishing a sheet feed table selecting means which makes automatic selection of sheet feed table, when the format of special sheets to be used is different from the sheet format of the sheet feed table currently in selection, so that a sheet feed table accommodating sheets of the same format comes in place. CONSTITUTION:When the front cover function is in selection, the cover function select is being monitored at all times, and sensing of the select actuates comparison of the cover format (A4 accommodated in No.1 sheet feed 33) with the format of the sheet feed table currently selected (B4 as accommodated in No.3 sheet feed table 35). If the result from comparison says that they are not identical, a sheet feed table selecting device 37 searches a sheet feed which accommodates sheets of the same format as the cover format. |
