PURPOSE:To make a character contour sharp and to prevent ink from running at the character contour part by forming the plate character of the character contour part consisting of intermittent groove-shaped cells and a character fill part consisting of dot-shaped cells. CONSTITUTION:While the laser beam form a laser exposure device is moved while blinking and illuminating the surface of a photosensitive film to form the plate character of the character contour part 1 and character fill part 2 on the photosensitive film. Then the contour part 1 is formed of the intermittent groove-shaped cells with limited width and necessary length for prevention against a run of ink which is applied by wiping a doctor on a plate surface, and the fill part 2 is formed of the dot-shaped cells of dot percentage of a shadow part. Consequently, the ink is applied excellently to the entire plate character, the ink at the printed contour part is thick to make the character contour sharp, and the fill part is painted in black, so that a character print of high quality is obtained. |
