The invention concerns producing superhard materials, in particular synthesis of diamonds, cubic boron nitride, polycrystalline and composition materials based thereon, for producing abrasive and cutting tool. The method is characterized in that in charge crystal-forming additives are used, in particular ultradisperse powder of material of cubic structure. In one of embodiments of the invention asultradisperse powder of material of cubic structure diamond powder is used. At that superhard materials output is increased to 96-100 % in the absence of foreign admixtures, which allows to obtain at once tools of required structure and characteristic. Energy and materials are substantially saved.
