PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of a function in advance and to always execute a correct and quick processing by constituting a device so that if a sticking material is present on a probe, it can be detected and eliminated automatically. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillator 1 for generating a high frequency signal for driving an ultrasonic wave is supplied to the primary side of an output transformer 4 through a control circuit 2 and an amplifier 3. On the secondary side of the output transformer 4, a high frequency current is generated, and it is supplied to a hand piece 5. The hand piece 5 has an ultrasonic vibrator 6, and ultrasonic vibration generated by the resonance of the ultrasonic vibrator 6 is amplified by a horn 7 and transmitted to a probe 8 and by the probe 8, the ultrasonic vibration is transmitted to a medical treatment object tissue 9. When a part of the medical treatment object tissue 9 is stuck to the tip of the probe 8, the impedance of the probe 8 rises, an sticking detecting circuit 20 detects the sticking material, and the control circuit 2 brings the output of the oscillator 1 to conversion processing to a burst driving signal having high amplitude and being intermittent and outputs it. The ultrasonic vibrator 6 is brought to burst driving, and the material stuck to the probe 8 is washed and eliminated. In such a manner, the impedance of the probe 8 is lowered and the device returns to a regular medical treatment. |
