PURPOSE:To obtain a secure control signal of lens stop by branching and extracting an output signal obtained from an optical image of a subject, and integrating the output signal to appreciate the brightness of the subject. CONSTITUTION:An optical image formed on an image pickup means 003 through a lens 001 is transduced into a prescribed electric signal by the image pickup means 003. This electric signal is led to an image reproducing means 006 and an integrating means 004. The integrating means 004 integrates the electric signal and supplies the integrated electric signal to a lens stopping-down control means 005. On the basis of the integrated electric signal, the means 005 controls the degree of the opening of a lens stop 002. Thus, the brightness of the image pickup surface of the image pickup means is obtained directly as a control signal for the lens stop, so the lens stop is controlled with higher accuracy. |
