FILTER OF VEHICLE-MOUNTED AIR CLEANER

PURPOSE:To form a product into a thin type and to enlarge the rear field of view by compacting the space for inserting a filter and nearly straightening air current to the direction of a fan from a suction port and obtaining the filter having low pressure drop while contracting the space. CONSTITUTION:A box body is formed of a main body 11 and a cover 55 and also a suction port 18 and an exhaust port 53 are formed to the opposite both side faces. A filter 20 fitted to a discharge device and a fan 12 fitted to a motor 13 are nearly horizontally provided from a suction port 18 side to the inside of the box body. The filter 20 of a vehicle-mounted air cleaner is thinly formed in the whole thickness and opened toward the upstream side and curved to a V-shaped and fixed by inserting this filter 20 along a guide frame 33 integrally protruded by the discharge device 19. Furthermore the filter 20 is formed by laminating an activated carbon filter wherein an electrostatic filter and activated carbon are incorporated. The activated carbon filter is removed in the central part of the filter 20 and a thin-walled part is formed. As a result, a product is formed to a thin type and the rear field of view is enlarged.
