<p>PURPOSE:To stably supply a molten glass gob at the time for cutting the gob even when the opening/closing velocity of a shearing arm is made high-speed by providing a guide arm which is driven individually from a shearing mechanism and providing a guide which guides the molten glass gob to a molding machine to the free end of the guide arm. CONSTITUTION:A shearing mechanism 13 is connected with the base ends of shearing arms 10a, 10b having shearing blades 11a, 11b. The shearing arms 10a, 10b are opened, closed and driven by actuation of the shearing mechanism 13. A molten glass gob is cut by the shearing blades 11a, 11b and the cut gobs are supplied to a molding machine. In this case, a guide arm 33 driven individually from the shearing mechanism 13 is provided. A guide 41 which guides the molten glass gob to the molding machine is provided to the free end of the guide arm. Even when the shearing arms 10a, 10b are opened, closed and driven, the guide arm 33 is not actuated by interlocking therewith.</p> |
