The pantograph for current collectors of electrically-propelled vehicles with overhead line supply has individually sprung slippers which are formed from a parallelogram structure with joints and rigid connecting rods and in which springs engage on components of the slipper. The dampening of the slipper as well as of the pantograph mounted in the crown hinge occurs by means of the rubbing together of surfaces sliding past one another and of bearings.
