PURPOSE:To facilitate the chamfering on tongue pieces and allow reasonable bending by bending tongue pieces on one and the other side sections of common substrate sections connected to inserting legs by 90 deg. face to face. CONSTITUTION:Tongue pieces 3a and 3b penetrated through a cover having contact angle sections J into contact with core wires are provided on both sides in the width direction of a common substrate section 2 connected to a leg section 1 inserted into a printed board or the like, and tongue sections 3a and 3b are bent by 90 deg. from the substrate section 2 and faced to each other. These tongue pieces 3a and 3b are bent by 90 deg., not 180 deg., from the substrate section 2, thus reasonable bending can be performed, and contact angle sections J can be easily chamfered from both faces in this connecting terminal for a covered electric wire. |
