A method of decreasing the viscosity and improving the evaporability of black liquor from a soda pulping process. The soda black liquor is heat treated at a temperature of 150 DEG -210 DEG C for 5-60 min before the final evaporation thereof in the presence of anthraquinone or a corresponding organic catalytic agent. |
