Process and device for the three-dimensional measurement of bodies, especially teeth in patients' buccal cavities, in which all the partial views of the body to be measured are recorded with the aid of at least two optics (12A, 12P) arranged at a fixed mutual distance in a probe (47) with light radiated by a source and the image reflected by the partial views at a parallax angle corresponding to the distance between the two optics (12A, 12P) and taken to an image sensor which converts the light images into electric data signals which are evaluated in a computer to produce an overall image including all the partial views. The individual partial views are exposed and the reflected light images are recorded either in succession by means of the at least two optics (12A, 12P) which are movable within the probe (47) or at the same time or in succession with more than two optics (12A, 12P) which are fixed inside the probe (47).
