PURPOSE:To automate the whole work from stripping to soldering of a cable terminal by installing processing stations along an endless track and processing a coaxial cable while moving to each station. CONSTITUTION:A coaxial cable terminating apparatus A comprises a carrier 10 having a turntable 11, a control panel 20, six sets of cable positioning devices 30 arranged around the table 11 at regular intervals, a first peeler 40, a shielding wire sorter 50, a second peeler 60, a first soldering apparatus 70, and a second soldering apparatus 80. A coaxial cable 1 is held horizontally on the turntable 11 with clamps 12, sent to the stations sequentially through the rotation of the turntable, 11, and processed as specified. |
