PURPOSE:To reduce a storage space of a resistor by providing a charge circuit which comprises a switch and the series circuit of the resistor and a diode connected in parallel with the switch and providing a drive circuit closing the switch. CONSTITUTION:When an electric power is fed to a load 1, first, a magnet- contactor 2 is made to be ON-state. Then, a capacitor 4 is subjected to a soft- charging by an input AC electric power. When the capacitor 4 becomes an overvoltage state, a switching transistor 13 turns on and a regenerative current flows from the capacitor 4 to be consumed by a resistor R. When a power supply is cut off, temporally cut or cut in an emergency during normal feed state, the switching transistor 13 turns on. Then, a discharge current flows from the capacitor 4 and is consumed by the resistor R, and discharge takes place. |
