<p>PURPOSE:To avert the superposition of a design simulation (DS) system and a layout scanner system (LS) and to improve a trimming operation by using the information determined by the DS as plate making information at the time of executing plate making by the LS. CONSTITUTION:The image of an original is first inputted as rough image information by a color scanner 4 and is stored on a floppy disk 5 in the case of execution of the plate making by using the information on the control of the plate making by the DS system in the LS. Character information is inputted from a keyboard 1 and basic layout information is inputted from a digitizer 2 and is stored on the disk 5. On the other hand, the layout corresponding to the basic layout information stored on the disk 5 is displayed on a display 6 by a computer 7. The information in the disk 5 is displayed and simulated at the desired point of the displayed layout and the desired layout design is determined. The information on the rough image, position, magnification and angle determined in such a manner is stored as plate making information on the disk 5.</p> |
