<p>Moulding device for necks of containers and a process employing such a device, comprising a component (4) hollowed out from end to end to form a bore (5), the said bore comprising an end part (6) for moulding the outer face (7) of the neck, and a member (9) interacting jointively with the bore (5) and comprising a suitable end (10) for covering the neck of the container, the end (10) has a projection (12) of revolution around the axis (13) of the bore, pointed in the direction of the said axis and suitable for moulding the inner face of the said neck, the member (9) is arranged to interact slidably in the component (4) between a moulding position where the projection is introduced into the said end part (6) of the bore, and a withdrawn position where the projection is set back in relation to the said end part (6) of the bore.
