<p>PURPOSE:To control the content of detergent in washing or processes of washing, rinsing or the like according to characteristics of aqueous solution which has the correlation with the detergent concentration in washing liquid and has no difference in the kinds of detergent used, by detecting the surface tension or boundary tension of the washing liquid in which the detergent is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:Washing liquid 2 in a washing tank 1 is sent when an electromagnetic valve 3a is opened, a piston 4 moves upward and a check valve 6a in a pressurizer 5 is opened. Next, when the piston 4 moves downward, a check valve 6b is opened to send the liquid 2 to a thin pipe 7 and liquid droplets 8 form in an opening part and drip successively. Then, a light path between a luminescent element LED 9 and light receiving element PD10 is interrupted to vary a light amount received in PD10. The varying cycle is an interval of dripping time which is measured by an optical measuring circuit and read by a washing machine control circuit 12. To correct a change in the characteristics of detectors, water containing no detergent used for washing is dripped next to the washing liquid and measured in the same manner as the washing liquid by opening an electromagnetic valve 3b. The result of the measurement of the washing liquid is corrected on the basis of such a result to control the washing and rinsing in the washing processes.</p> |
