<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate the kinds of tapes in both cassettes by operating a detecting means to the compact cassette by an operating means according to the presence and absence of a tape kind discriminating hole, and saving the operating means to the standard cassette. CONSTITUTION:When the compact cassette is loaded on a tape driving means 13, a conversion lever 52 is once rotated in a 1b direction and an operation part 55 operates a detecting means 58. Afterwards, when a hole engaging part 54 is abutted to a tape kind discriminating hole 12a, the lever 52 is rotated in a 1a direction and the means 58 is turned OFF. When the standard cassette is loaded, an engaging rod 59 is moved to a position, where loading operation is not distrubed, and the lower end face of the cassette is abutted and slid to a bearing part 53 of the lever 52. Then, the means 58 is turned ON. On the other hand, when there is no discriminating hole, the tape is not pressed by the cassette and the means 58 is turned OFF. Thus, the kinds of the tapes in the compact and standard cassettes can be discriminated by one detecting means.</p> |
