PURPOSE:To reduce the splash rate of the body to be worked generated at cutting time and to generate no breakdown, flaw, damage, etc., of the body to be worked by splash, by sticking and fixing a side stopper to both faces or one face of the body to be worked in the relative feeding direction of a cutting edge with the use of a wax, etc. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics plate 4 of a body 1 to be worked is glued via the adhesive 3 of a wax 7, etc., to a dunnage material 2 and the side face 5 of the ceramics plate 4 is glued and fixed as well via the wax 7 by a side stopper 6. The body 1 to be worked is thus cut simultaneously with the side stopper 6 by using a cutting grindstone 9 after fixing and supporting the body 1 to be worked. |
