PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition composed of a dibasic acid residue, a glycol residue and an alkoxylic acid residue, having excellent lamination processability to metal, sufficiently durable to the severe work in the forming of a metallic can and suitable as a food can, a material for laminating to plastic material, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition having a melting point of >=160 deg.C and containing main chain aliphatic hydrocarbon having an average carbon number of >=1.25 and total carbon number of >=8 can be produced by compounding (A) a dibasic acid residue of formula I (Ar is group of formula II and/or formula III) and/or formula IV (R1j to R3k are >=2C alkylene: i, j and k are >=1), (B) a glycol residue of formula V [e.g. 1,2-ethylenediol (ethylene glycol)] and (C) an alkoxylic acid residue of formula VI (e.g. epsilon-caprolactone). |
